This Collection of twenty-six essays, written by acknowledged experts in literary studies, surveys the history of scholarly editing, describes the major research in a variety of disciplines, summarizes the resources available to scholars, greek introduction literature modern and analyzes the issues currently facing textual editors. Modern Greek literature - Modern Greek literature refers to literature written in the Greek language from the 11th century, with texts written in a language that is more familiar to the ears of Greeks today than is the language of the early Byzantine literati, the compilers of the New Testament, or, of course, the classical authors of the fifth and fourth centuries BC.
